The training subsystem is part of the unified data exchange network for X-ray inspection systems used by the customs authorities of the Baltic States. It is intended to develop and maintain officers’ competencies. The subsystem centrally stores training materials, X-ray image examples, case scenarios, tests, and simulations linked to real inspections. It enables joint cross-border training, certification, and knowledge assessment across the Baltic States. Training progress, competency levels, and qualification validity are monitored. The subsystem is integrated with inspection and risk management subsystems so that training content is continuously updated according to real threats and practical situations.
