The system is used to issue documents confirming professional experience and its duration to persons travelling to other EU Member States to work in a regulated profession. This service is provided to individuals who are citizens of an EU Member State, a European Economic Area state or the Swiss Confederation. Under Directive 2005/36/EC, these persons must present a document issued in their country, in this case Lithuania, proving that they carried out the relevant activity for the required period. The Ministry of the Economy and Innovation collects, stores and organises data on the assessment of this service and the issuing of documents. The data specifies the activity carried out by the person in Lithuania, including the relevant list, main group and subgroup in Annex IV to Directive 2005/36/EC, and the country to which the person is travelling, as this is stated in the document issued.
