The purpose of the mobile postal worker service is to improve access to postal services in the most remote areas of Lithuania where traditional post offices are absent or have limited operations. The mobile postal workers' task management platform generates and assigns daily routes and task lists, including customer addresses and task types such as parcel delivery and payment collection. Postal workers use special tablets to record operations in real time, including registering parcels, accepting payments and generating receipts; these data are stored in the system. The system stores data on serviced areas, tasks, kilometres travelled by postal workers, coordinates, completed assigned services and received money orders.
