The system processes digital content objects and their files, organises them into collections and organisational units, stores metadata values, supports persistent identifiers, describes semantic relationships between objects, and enables the recording and analysis of research activity indicators. It also provides subscription mechanisms and object typology, creating a consistent and integrated foundation for research data management.
