    dct:description "The system comprises permanent global positioning system (GPNS) stations located throughout the Republic of Lithuania, a data transmission network and a data processing centre where errors in GPNS satellite signals are calculated and eliminated in real time. The LitPOS network operates using virtual reference station technology. This technology is based on installing GPNS reference (base) stations at points on the Earth's surface whose coordinates are accurately known in the required coordinate system. Measurement data from GPNS reference stations is aggregated and systematized, and GPNS corrections are transmitted to users via telemetry communication channels. The position of a GPNS user is determined accurately and reliably using already processed and modelled signals from the reference stations." ;
